Sierra Safran (she/her) is pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre at Elon University. This past summer, she traveled to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Vine & Light Productions, where she originated the role of Issa in the new musical Antigone 1989. Other recent highlights include Clara in The Light in the Piazza at Civic Theatre of Allentown and Julie Nixon/Patti Davis in First Daughter Suite and An American in Paris (Swing) both at Elon University.

 

Sierra made her professional debut in The Prom at The Media Theatre and has also appeared as Wendla in Spring Awakening and Ermengarde in Hello, Dolly! at Music Mountain Theatre. At Elon, she has also performed in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 and The Magic Flute opera at Elon University. Before transferring to Elon, she completed one year of classical voice training at Syracuse University.

 

When she's not onstage, Sierra is usually watching movies. She spent her COVID year watching a different film every day, and she's still happy to recommend a favorite. When she's home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, she works at The County Theater, a beloved independent art house cinema in Doylestown.
