MEET SIERRA
Sierra Safran (she/her) is pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre at Elon University. This summer, she travels to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe with Vine & Light Productions, where she will originate the role of Issa in the new musical Antigone 1989. Recent highlights include Clara in The Light in the Piazza at Civic Theatre of Allentown, First Daughter Suite (Julie Nixon/Patti Davis), and An American in Paris (Swing) at Elon University.
Sierra made her professional debut in The Prom at The Media Theatre and has also appeared as Wendla in Spring Awakening and Ermengarde in Hello, Dolly! at Music Mountain Theatre. At Elon, she has also performed in Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812 and The Magic Flute opera. Before transferring to Elon, she completed one year of classical voice training at Syracuse University.
When she's not onstage, Sierra is usually watching movies. She spent her COVID year watching a different film every day, and she's still happy to recommend a favorite. When she's home in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, she works at The County Theater, a beloved independent art house cinema in Doylestown.
